The Alpha Rho Alumni Association is incorporated in the State of New Jersey as a non-profit organization, under the name "Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity of NJIT, Inc.". The Board of Directors is the governing body of the corporation, and represents not only the Alumni Association but also the undergraduate chapter house, in all matters relating to legal, financial, and administrative matters, which cannot be handled at the campus level.
Member of the Board of Directors serve three year terms, and three vacancies occur per year -- this avoids a full turnover of the Board in any one election. Corporate Officers must first be elected to the Board of Directors before being eligible for their office. For more information, see the constitution.
