Hello Everyone!
Big news. The Black and White has been scheduled and it will be held on January 25, 2003 at McAteers in Somerset (same location as last year) starting at 7:30 in the evening!
This year, we are going to be in a different (larger) room, and I've negotiated for 2 (count em) 2 Bartenders, so no more long waits for drinks!
Once again, everyone in attendance will leave with a special favor (in the past we've done candles, glasses, and wine, what will it be this year?).
A group of rooms have been set aside at the Somerset Marriott exclusively for Alpha Sigma Phi. You may check in on Friday, January 24th or Saturday, January 25th, and our special room rate is $79 per night. You need to call 732-560-0500 or 1-800-238-3189 to book the room and mention that you are from Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. The number of rooms is limited and reservations MUST be made no later than 4 weeks before the event (otherwise the rooms will be released to the general public). Your room will also include shuttle service to and from McAteers on the evening of The Black and White. If you need further info, please call Chris V (732/424-8746) or the Hotel.
There will be plenty of open seating and the tables seat 8 people (4 couples). However, If there are other people/couples that you would like to sit with, please indicate that when mailing in your check, or contact Chris V via email at cvakulchik@hotmail.com to reserve a table. All couples requesting seating must be paid in full to guarantee a spot.
$110 per couple, and $65 for single (After January 12th, costs increase to $150 per couple or $85 for single).

Garden State Parkway or NJ Turnpike to I-287 North. From I-287 North, take Exit 10 (County route 527/New Brunswick). Follow Route 527 South to Easton Avenue. McAteer's will be 1/4 mile on the right at 1714 Easton Avenue, Somerset, N.J. (732) 469-2522 or at http://www.mcateers.com
From 287 North: Take Exit 10 (527/ New Brunswick) follow Route 527 North to the first traffic light and make a left (Davidson Ave.) Hotel is 2nd building on the left, second driveway entrance.
From 287 South: Take Exit 10 (Route 527/Easton Ave/ New Brunswick) at the bottom of the exit, get immediately into the left land and make a left turn. Once you have turned left, go straight (bearing to your right, 527 North) to the first traffic light and make a left onto Davidson Ave. The hotel is second building on your left.
Parkway (N or S): Take Parkway to 287 North, follow directions above.
NJ Turnpike: Take Exit 10 for 287 N, follow directions above.
