Have you ever been to a drive in movie? If you have, have your kids ever been? Well here is a chance to experience the fun of a drive-in.
On October 2nd I will be hosting a pre drive-in get together at my parents home in West Milford, NJ. The drive-in is in Warwick, NY, which is only 5 min from there. We will be having a BBQ before the movie so we are well fed before enjoying a night of movies.
The BBQ starts at 5:30pm. and will run until 7:30pm. The first movie of the night will be around 8:00pm. For all the parents out there the 8 o'clock show is usually a kids movie. The second movie starts a few minutes after the first, and if we're sneaky we can see two movies for the price of one.
The price of the ticket is $6.50 a person; people in the trunk are included. I recommend you bring you drinks and snacks, snack shack is kind of scary! If you have a carload of people bring a portable radio and a blanket or chairs so you can sit on the grass. Couples can park in the back and steam up the windows. If we get there early enough there is a playground so the kids can play and a field so we can toss the pigskin.

By the way remember to bring warm clothes, the nights in Warwick do get cool.
